FAQ

Does Pronto read my code?

No. Pronto only reads PR metadata — titles, status, check results, review state. It never reads diffs, file contents, or comment bodies.

What permissions does Pronto need on GitHub?

repo:status (read PR/check status), read:org (list orgs and repos), notifications (read your notification feed).

Can I use Pronto on Linux or Windows?

Not yet. The native app is macOS-only. For other platforms, use Pronto for Slack.

Where is my data stored?

PR metadata is cached locally in ~/Library/Application Support/Pronto. Authentication tokens live in macOS Keychain. Nothing leaves your machine for the native app.
