Settings

Settings are per-user — each team member configures their own preferences independently. To open settings, go to the Pronto App Home and click the Settings tab.

Notification categories

Control which events trigger a Slack DM from Pronto:

• Review requested — someone added you as a reviewer
• Review submitted — someone reviewed your PR
• CI status — checks finished on your PR (pass or fail)
• State change — a PR you're involved in was merged, closed, or got a conflict

Toggle each category independently. Disabled categories are never sent, even if the event occurs.

Quiet hours

Set a time window during which Pronto won't send DMs. Useful for keeping your evenings and weekends notification-free.

Settings → Quiet hours → set start and end time. All times are in your local timezone as detected from your Slack profile.

Watched users

Pronto can notify you about PRs from specific teammates even if you're not a reviewer. Helpful for leads who want to stay aware of their team's work.

Settings → Watched users → add a GitHub username. You'll receive the same CI and review notifications for their PRs that you'd get for your own.
