Install on macOS

Requirements

• macOS 13 or later
• A GitHub account

Install via Homebrew (recommended)

brew install --cask pronto-notify/tap/pronto

The first launch will:

1. Add a menu-bar icon (look for it next to the clock)
2. Open a sign-in window — sign in with GitHub
3. Start polling your PRs in the background

Install via DMG

Download the latest .dmg from GitHub Releases.

The first launch may be blocked by Gatekeeper because we're a small publisher. Right-click the app and choose "Open" — macOS will then remember the choice.

Verify it's working

Click the menu-bar icon. You should see a popup with your open PRs. If the list is empty and you have open PRs on GitHub, see Troubleshooting.
